Fusarium head blight - a common and dangerous fungal disease. Plants are affected at any age. The fungus is in the soil and enters the plant through the soil and lesions. In young plants the disease is manifested in the form of root rot and root collar. In these areas turn brown tissue, the stem becomes thinner, the leaves turn yellow. Soon the whole plant withers and dies. The disease is mainly spread foci. Infection spreads through the soil. Most strongly susceptible to the disease weakened plants. Development of the disease contributes to high soil moisture and air.
Control measures. Removal and destruction of plants, together with a lump of land. Disinfection pots 5% solution of copper sulphate, chloride of lime. We can not allow the excess moisture.
